Hiring event staff in Europe

We fly our U.K. crew out to the continent, and on large-scale events blend them with local native staff. Lead times, languages and travel planning all change.

Plan four to six weeks out

U.K. bookings can be turned around in about two weeks. Continental Europe needs four to six — that lead time lets us lock the right U.K. crew, book travel and accommodation properly, and add native-speaking support where the market needs it. Peak weeks in Paris, Milan and Geneva go early, and the strongest people go first.

Language is the differentiator

An English-only team on a Milan stand halves your conversation rate. We staff with native French, German, Italian and Spanish speakers depending on the market, and specify language on the brief rather than treating it as a bonus.

We fly our own crew out

Our preference is to fly our U.K. team out to the event. They already know our standards, our briefing process and each other, so you get the same crew quality in Milan or Davos that you would get in London — no unknowns on the morning of build.

For large-scale events we mix it up: a U.K. core team supported by local native crew for language and local knowledge. That combination gives you continuity and standards from our people, plus native speakers who know the venue, the transport and the local rhythm.

Cities we work

  • Paris — fashion weeks, Porte de Versailles, luxury retail activations.
  • Milan — Design Week, Rho Fiera, showroom hosting.
  • Geneva — summits, watch and motor shows, corporate hospitality.
  • Monaco & Cannes — Grand Prix, festivals, yacht and marina hospitality.
  • Davos — summit-week lounges and private client hosting.

Budgeting for a European booking

Start from the U.K. hourly rates as your baseline, then add travel, accommodation and per diems for the crew flying out. On larger events, a portion of the floor team can be local native crew, which trims travel costs while keeping our U.K. core on site. Send the city, dates and roles and we quote the full picture the same day.
